Subaquatic dive center welcomes you to our site beneath the waves. Take your time browsing our website. Welcome to the fascinating and unique underwater world of Istria, where you can enjoy one of the longest Mediterranean diving seasons. You will find clear unpolluted water where marine life is still alive. Down in the deep blue you will enjoy wreck diving, meet our pets conger ell, lobsters, nudibranchs and several families of mediterranean fish. The underwater terrain is furthermore an ideal home of cuttlefish, seahorse, crabs and colorful sponges, soft corals as well as treasures from ancient times.
Professional and high educated dive team will make your dive safe and unforgettable. We run courses from Try Scuba and all the way to Pro Members, instructors, or simply from zero to hero program.
resort Stella Maris - Plava Laguna
Location
Subaquatic diving center is located in the heart of the beautiful lagoon in resort of Plava Laguna. Beach that surrounds us has been often declared as Croatia most beautiful beach, it stretches around the Istrian villas, hotels and apartments Stella Maris. Place is ideal for those looking for active holidays, the most famous tennis tournament ATP Croatia open is held here every year.
Subaquatic diving center is open from early spring to late autumn every day from 9 am to 5 pm. We organize daily tours of two or three dives at different locations that are remote from the dive base from 15 minutes to one hour drive by our 2 boats. Flipper is and comfortable boat and has a capacity of 12 divers + crew, it is 12 m in length and has engine power of 350 HP. It is equipped with GPS navigation, fish Finder, UHF radio station, and a set of First Aid O2. Baracuda is speed boat with capacity of 12 passenger, and 2 engine of 200 HP. Our captains will make your trip safe and comfortable.
The dive center is equipped with two air compressors and nitrox filling station 50 cylinders (6, 10, 12 and 15 liters) and 40 complete sets of diving equipment. We are located close to the sea. Our guests can use an outdoor swimming pool with showers close to the beach. Deck chairs, umbrellas and available for free. There is free parking for all guests in the resort. Our facilities are suitable for people with disabilities.
Tourist settlement Stella Maris is located on the spot Umag, just a few kilometers from the border with the Republic of Slovenia. Travellers coming from north or northeast will choose the route Zagreb-Ljubljana-Koper-bordercrossing Plovania and for the travellers coming from northwest the route will be Villach-Udine-Trieste-Koper-bordercrossing Plovania.
From east the best way is through Zagreb-Rijeka-Tunel Ucka-Buzet-Buje-Umag. If you are coming by plane, the closest international airports are Pula, Ljubljana and Zagreb. Follow the signs for diving center.
